Janie M. Andrews, 59, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on March 25th, 2017, with her children by her side.  She was born May 7th, 1957, in Menomonie, WI, to Earl and Catherine Fredrickson and grew up on the family farm near Plum City.  She attended Plum City High School and later attained an Account Clerk certificate from District One Technical Institute.  She worked in various clerical positions over the years and was known for her conscientious work ethic.  She was well-loved by her co-workers and made many life-long friends along the way.

Janie married Jerry Andrews on February 9, 1974, and they had two children together, Aaron and Stacey. Janie devoted her life to them and was the most loving and caring mom they could ever ask for.  In 2005, Fiore Brugli became as a special daughter to Janie, and Antonello Brugli a grandson, whom she loved dearly.  Janie loved to spend time with her family and cook meals for them.  She was always baking something for someone, sending thoughtful cards, thinking of others, even in her last months, weeks, and days of life when she was burdened with illness. 

Janie renewed her vows to serve the Lord in July, 2002, and enjoyed the best years of her life walking in fellowship with the Lord and His people.  God did a beautiful work in her heart and life and it was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She will always be remembered for her heart full of love, her thoughtful ways, and her faith in God.

Janie is survived by her two children, Aaron Andrews, of Osseo, WI, and Stacey Andrews, of Visalia, CA, Fiore Brugli and grandson, Antonello Brugli, of Eau Claire, WI, former husband and friend, Jerry Andrews, of Eau Claire, WI; sisters, Mary Ellen Hague of Hollister, CA, JoAnn Fredrickson of Morgan Hill, CA, brothers, Ken (Shirley) Fredrickson of Eau Claire, WI, Jerry (Stephanie) Fredrickson, of Eau Claire, WI, Mark Fredrickson, of Eau Claire, WI, brother-in-law, Ron Ginsbach, of Elmwood, WI, an aunt, Edna Rundquist, of Red Wing, MN, and several cousins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joanne Andrews, Ruth Anderson, Harry Andrews, Jenny Douglas, John (Vickie) Andrews, Jane (Jerry) Anderson, Anne Malosh, Phil (Enid) Andrews, and many nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Catherine Fredrickson, a brother, James Fredrickson, a sister, Elaine Ginsbach, nieces, Christine Hague and Carey Fredrickson; mother and father-in-law, Hugh and Esther Andrews, brothers-in-law, Walt Anderson and Carroll Andrews, and sister-in-law, Linda Andrews.    

Aaron and Stacey would like to thank Mom’s dear friends and family for their love, care and support for Mom during her illness and also thank the staff at Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center for their excellent care. 

Funeral services will take place at 11 am on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Town of Pleasant Valley Community Center, S10414 County Road HH, Eleva WI 54738.  Visitation will take place at the Community Center Thursday morning from 9 am until the time of service.  Burial will take place in the Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington immediately following the funeral service.

Visitation will take place at the Town of Pleasant Valley Community Center on Thursday morning from 9 am until the time of services.
