Sally Marie Giedd, 67, of Elk Mound, passed away Monday, March  12, 2018 at Dove Healthcare West in Eau Claire. 

Sally was born on June 30, 1950 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Dallas and Awanda (Bates) Perry.  On April 23, 1971, Sally married Michel Giedd and become a loving wife. 

Sally enjoyed her work as a home health aide and made a difference in many peoples’ lives.  She was involved in showing horses with her daughters when they were young.  Sally enjoyed any activity with her grandkids including soccer games, track meets, musical concerts, and arts and crafts.  She loved to garden, go fishing and camping with her husband and working around their hobby farm.  Sally loved the outdoors and being in nature.  Most important was her time spent with all of her family and friends at Sunday “popcorn” and other family gatherings.

Sally is survived by her husband Michel and two daughters, Mary Jo (Grady) Leonardson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Jackie Giedd of Rice Lake, Wisconsin; her brother William (Lonnie) Perry of New Auburn, Wisconsin; and her three grandchildren Aleksander Leonardson, Grace Leonardson and Lauren Leonardson.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents and Michael Gerald Perry, her infant brother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Feed My People Food Bank, 2610 Alpine Road, Eau Claire, WI 54703.

Memorial service will take place at 1 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Hulke Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Alan Millen officiating.  Visitation will take place Saturday at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date.
