Joseph "Joey" A. Moen

Joseph "Joey" A. Moen

December 24, 2017

Joseph Allen Moen, 49, passed away on December 24, 2017.

He was born with his twin brother, Daniel October 25, 1968 to the late Virgil Sr. and Rosella (Winans) Moen at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, WI.

Joseph (Joey/Joe) Allen Moen's life is not one that can be easily quantified or qualified through words.  He was a man whose heart was pure and was driven by a desire to do unto others as he would have done unto him. His love for his family and friends was immense. Those whom his life touched they knew it.  He fought for those who were less fortunate and went without so that others would have.  He was a twin, a brother, a son, an uncle, a fighter and a lover.  He was a poet, an artist, a sculptor, a painter, a carpenter, a singer, an author, and a songwriter.  He was a man of God, a prophet who knew Christ and had the Holy Spirit living in him.  It may never be known how much he will be missed but the beauty is that we will see him again.

Joseph is survived by his siblings, Virgil Moen Jr. Of Cameron, Rick Moen of Bruce, Caroline (Mark) Ferry of Rice Lake, Jeff (Roxanne) Moen of Cameron, Mary (Bruce) Gagner of Chetek, Roy Moen (Tim Nuffer) of Henderson, NV, Daniel Moen, Jerry Moen of Rice Lake, Michael (Shelonda) Moen of Chetek; many nieces and nephews.

Joseph is proceeded in death by his father and mother, Virgil Sr. and Rosella (Winans) Moen; siblings: two sisters, Diana Moen and Patricia Schmidt; two brothers, David Moen and James Moen; two nephews, Adam Moen and Jeremy Schmidt.
