Cecil F. Reiter, age 89, of Eau Claire, WI died, Friday, December 8, 2017 at Grace Prairie Pointe Assisted Living in Altoona, WI.

Cecil was born on January 18, 1928 in Chippewa Falls, WI, to Earl and Margaret (Zweifel) Reiter.

Cecil went to Eau Claire High School and entered the US Navy in 1945. After returning home he married Audrey L. Barnum in June of 1948 in Eau Claire, WI.  Cecil worked for Martin Outboard Motors Co, then the Paper Mill and also for Whites Machine Shop. He owned and operated Reiters Electric, retiring in about 1995.

Cecil was an avid camper, fisherman, boater; in general loved the outdoors.  Loved his trips to Las Vegas and Mexico and was a die hard Packer fan. 

Cecil is survived by five sons, John (Julie), Jeff (Mary), Cecil, Jr. (Kim), Tom (Cindy) and Mike (Sherri); daughter-in-law, Kathy; grandchildren and great grandchildren; Sister, Catherine Steinmetz; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents;  his wife, Audrey, (1990); infant son, Joseph and son, Earl; two granddaughters, Amanda and Michelle; two great grandchildren, Shaun and Sam;  two brothers, Alvin and Gene; and special friend, Rose.

A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eau Claire. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Chippewa Valley Cremation Services of Altoona, WI is serving the family.
