Cynthia Daniels

October 27, 2017

Cynthia A Daniels, 64 of Eau Claire, Wisconsin died Friday, October 27th, 2017.

Survivors are daughter and son in law, Trish and Kelly Powell. As well as friends she considered family: Serle Cohen, Laurie (Michael) Walker Cain, Michael Holton and Cathy Coulliard, and David Echegoyen. Survivors also include her beloved cats Spencer, Quincy and Porkchop.

She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Mildred, father John, and her beloved sister, Pat.

Cyndie loved animals, having shared her life with many rescue cats and dogs since she was young. She enjoyed painting and craft projects. Her passion was interior design, and she made every home she had look beautiful and charming. She was a kind, trusting and giving person who loved her friends and family.

She was a devout Catholic and believed strongly in the power of St. Jude.   She’d pray the following to him when faced with a “lost cause” to find comfort for herself and others she prayed for:

Most holy Apostle, Saint Jude Thaddeus, friend of Jesus, I place myself in your care at this difficult time. Help me know that I need not face my troubles alone. Please join me in my need, asking God to send me: consolation in my sorrow, courage in my fear, and healing in the midst of my suffering. Ask our loving Lord to fill me with the grace to accept whatever may lie ahead for me and my loved ones, and to strengthen my faith in God's healing powers. Thank you, Saint Jude Thaddeus, for the promise of hope you hold out to all who believe, and inspire me to give this gift of hope to others as it has been given to me.

Special thanks belong to the staff in the Reflections unit at Dove Health Care West. Cyndie was treated like family and was loved by many. In turn, she adored her nurses and everyone who helped her during her journey. In her time of need, they were there for her and this will be forever remembered.
