Scott Strand Campbell of Durand WI, formerly of Minneapolis, MN passed away peacefully on September 9, 2017 after a long and valiant fight with multiple myeloma. He was born January 31, 1962. Scott had a love of cooking, fishing, animals (his beloved bassets) and music but most of all; he loved and cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole, daughter, Maya Rahline (12) and son James Jeffrey (10).

Scott was the manager of Pine Meadow Golf Course in Eau Claire, WI. He always worked in the people industry where he could share his love of cooking but also, he just made connections with people being so easy to talk to.

Scott was always known by his nieces and nephews as the “cool uncle” accepting the flurry of surprise visits and craziness that ensued.

Scott will be missed by many. Surviving siblings: Connie (Ray) Borgen, Wayne Campbell, Patty (Rob) Hubbard, Mary (Randy) Camp, Linda Nielson, and Nancy (Jim) Boone. Mother-in-law: Dawn Torgerson, Father-in-law: Jeff Best, brother- in-laws Jeremy Best (Megan), Dylan Panetti (Joslyn) and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Scott is preceded in death by mother, Mary Evelyn Campbell, brother, Allan and sisters, Elizabeth and Sandra.

A memorial service will take place at 4 pm on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Hulke Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701.  Memorial visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 pm until the time of service.  Immediately following the service at the funeral home, there will be a Celebration of Life at Pine Meadow Golf Course, 4324 Fairfax Park Dr, Eau Claire, WI 54701
