He was the only child born to Daniel and Agnes Trehey. He spent his childhood in the Wauzeka, WI area until the age of 17 when he enlisted into the US Navy during WWII. After honorable discharge from the Navy he returned to Wauzeka to finish High School. While working at Borden’s in Boscobel he met his future wife Carol Radsek. Ken and Carol were married on June 5, 1953 at St. Paul’s Lutheran in Dubuque, Iowa. He enjoyed watching the Packers and Wisconsin Badgers play football, watching all his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities, dancing, singing, telling jokes, and enjoying the warm weather of Florida and Arizona.
