Judith "Judy" P. Buchholz, 77, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Care Partners in Eau Claire.

She was born February 14, 1940, in Mondovi, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Priscilla and Victor Brotzman. She spent her early life in the Gilmanton area. On June 4, 1961, she married her high school sweetheart, Craig Buchholz, in Gilmanton. They lived in Alma for a short time before settling in Buffalo City, Wisconsin. Before her retirement, she was employed as a Customer Service Representative with Sprint in Winona, Minnesota. She moved to Eau Claire to be closer to her brother and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Jill (Timm Canapa) Anhalt, grandchildren: Ethan and Ian of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; son, James (Jennifer) Buchholz, grandchildren: Colin, Evan, and Cian of Bangor, Wisconsin; one brother, Darrell (Norma) Brotzman, Eau Claire; three sisters, Audrey, Mrs. Gordon Heimsted, Eau Claire; Violet, Mrs. Jerry Roffler, Eau Claire; Jean, Mrs. Boyd Barrier, Morganton, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her brother Roger (Jean) Brotzman.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Care Partners for the care they took of Judy in her time there.

A memorial service will take place at 1 pm on Friday, August 11, 2017, at Spirit Lutheran Church, 1310 Main St, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Pastor Roger Benrud will officiate. Private family inurnment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will take place at the church Friday one hour prior to the memorial service.
