Bradley J. Davidson age 66, of Eau Claire died on Saturday, March 25, 2017, peacefully at his home with family by his side.

Brad was born on October 6, 1950, in Eau Claire, WI, the son of Clifford and Mary Jane (Lenfestey) Davidson. Growing up Brad attended Sunday school, was baptized on December 10, 1950, and was confirmed in 1965 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. His children and grandchildren were also baptized at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church which was important to him.

He graduated from North High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Navy for two years. Following the Navy, he became a merchant marine. After working as a merchant marine Brad spent many years driving truck and loved his job working for the county and retired from Hutchinson Technology.

He cherished time with his family and friends camping, fishing and living life to the fullest. In recent years, he enjoyed and appreciated his friends at Golden Acers. He was known for his smile and for putting a smile on anyone’s face. Those who were fortunate enough to know him knew he had a heart of gold.

Brad is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Davidson; siblings, Cheryl (Sam) Stegiano and Larry Davidson; Children, Sean Davidson (Lisa Smith), Jennifer (Andrew) Mitch, Joseph Davidson (Corine Duffy); Grandkids, Arianna, Sean, Kaya, Karter, Bryce, Lucy, Sophia, Calvin and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Davidson; sister in law, Diane Davidson; and life-long friends Mike Knudison and Dave Krause.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 601 Fall St., Eau Claire, with Rev. Dr. Timothy Heupel officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church. A private family inurnment will take place at Prairie View Cemetery in Chippewa Falls at a later date.
