Lois Florence Lewis passed away at her home in Eau Claire, WI February 8, 2017 at the age of 92.

Lois was a loving person with an infectious laugh.  She was great wife, mother, grandparent, great grandparent, neighbor, and friend.  With her very first paycheck she bought a piano.  Her love for music continued throughout her life as well as her commitment to the church and God.

She was preceded in death by parents- Marshall and Bessie Peterson; Husbands- Ernest Filarsky and Erle Lewis; Brothers- Harvey, Donald, Jerry, Neil, Ed Peterson; Sisters- Betty Moen and Mary Fornell; Stepdaughter- Margaret Lewis Speckien.

Lois is survived by son- Ken Filarsky; daughter- Judith Fletcher; stepson- Fred Lewis; stepdaughter-Sandra Rast; Sisters- Eunice Gortonn, Shirley Hansen, and Faye Erbeck; grandchildren- Brett Fletcher, Christina Fletcher-Uchytil, Sara Fletcher, Jon Filarsky, Theresa Gulsvig, and Keith Filarsky; great grandchildren- Luke Filarsky, Orion and Ruby Jane Gulsvig. Lois is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Lois's niece, Jane who provided extraordinary care and support for Lois in the last several years of her life.

Funeral service will take place at 11 am on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Carlson officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home Monday morning from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will take place in the Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington immediately following the funeral service.
