Judy K. Joadwine

January 6, 2017

Judy always loved the Lord and the garden. Born Judy K Speckien, on December 30, 1945 to parents Marvin Speckien and Antoinette Odegaard Dahl, she passed into the everlasting garden and the arms of eternity on January 6, 2017. She is survived by her husband John, daughter Angie, animal companions, and so many close relatives and friends. Blessings to all of you, too numerous to name, who share in our memories of Judy.

A life-long resident of Eau Claire, Judy graduated from Memorial High School in 1964. After school she worked as a tax accountant and married her husband John. After their daughter Angie was born she stayed home to raise her. Judy loved crafting, sewing, ceramics, painting, wood carving, being outside in nature, and going to Lake Superior.

A celebration of life will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Highland Ave. on Saturday, January 21, 2017. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., a service at 11:00 a.m. and coffee and snacks to follow.

Memorials in honor of Judy can be sent to the family as well, at their home address in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

She was surrounded by her husband John and daughter Angie at the time of her passing, who held her hand as she was welcomed home. Always the trio, they did everything together. They share in the most assured knowledge that she was greeted by those that she knew and loved in life. Her parents, countless relatives and friends, and beloved animal companions through the years waited patiently until they once again were reunited with our beloved wife and mom. We will miss you deeply in this life, until we are once again with you in the next. Until then, relax in the beauty of everlasting life that you have so earned. Have the garden ready for us when we arrive. It won’t seem like any time at all.
